Checkpoint 1 - TIMEFRAME (noon-1pm) - Find the Cotopaxi team at City Park near Thatcher Fountain, complete the challenge and post a team photo showing your checkpoint 1 stamp. Checkpoint closes at 1:00pm exactly.
Play pass the Candy Corn with Strangers. Use spoons to pass the candy corn from person to person. Hold the spoon in your mouth.
Dress up as an investigative team and make a chalk outline of one of your teammates.
Leave a scary book at a little free library/tiny library (not a public or city library). Take a video explaining your addition. #readingisFUNdamental
Swap shoelaces with a member of a different team. Two totems required in the submission.
Hug a stranger that is not participating in the Questival for 15 seconds.
Donate blood while wearing dracula teeth.
Donate healthy nonperishable food to the homeless shelter or food bank of your choice. Minimum two items per teammate.
Challenge a stranger not competing in the questival to a bubble gum blowing contest.
Send a net. Save a life. - As a team Donate $10 or more to Nothing But Nets at nothingbutnets.net/cotopaxi then upload a screenshot of your donation.
Contact the nonprofit of your choice and schedule a time to go in and volunteer with them after the Questival. (PLEASE if you complete this challenge make sure to honor your commitment). #integrity
Do a load of laundry. Hang dry instead of using a dryer (energy saver, what what!).
Make some hot chocolate or coffee and add a special ingredient.
It's getting colder outside, put on as many sweaters as you can (5+) and body slam a teammate
Brush your teammate's teeth for them, turn the water off whilst brushing. (save water, what what!).
As a team hold a "wall sit" as long as you can.
Stack 5 apples on top of each other with no other supports.
Create your greatest "Mummy Fashion" on a teammate using Toilet Paper. (Don't waste the toilet paper, sent it home with a teammate after for good use!)
Food toss trick shot, get fancy tossing food into a teammate's mouth
Visit your favorite Karaoke bar/restaurant with a partner and sing "Puttin' on the Ritz" like Gene Wilder and partner from Young Frankenstein.
Bowl a strike at a bowling alley... then moonwalk backwards and yell Questival. #pinpals
Get help from strangers and spell "OKTOBERQUEST" using one human body to make each one of the letters. (Other questival participants do not count as strangers for this one.)
Complete the kickoff challenge at 7:30 (It will be announced from the stage)
Go to the main stage and as a team dance to whatever band is playing.
Eat something from one of the check-in party food vendors and take a quick pic.
Visit stein hoisting or keg bowling either as a participant or spectator.
Visit NothingButNets.net learn a fact about malaria then make a 15 second video sharing your new found knowledge.
