Create a 15 second informational video about the work of one of Cotopaxi's grantees.
***PRIZE CHALLENGE*** Recreate your favorite scene from a Halloween themed movie.
Collect all of the garbage you create during your adventure and take a picture of it in the final two hours of Questival then recycle/compost what you can.
Find or make a souvenir that will remind you of the past 24 hours.
Go to a public place and eat an onion like one might eat an apple. Pretend that this is your 'normal' and film others reactions. #secretvideo (Complete this challenge somewhere that is not a checkpoint/check-in)
It is NOW the end of your 24th hour of Questival, share with us the best photo/video of where you ended up. Don't forget the totem.
Challenge a stranger that is not a questival participant to a 50-100 meter foot race in a public park that is not a checkpoint. Be a good sport win or lose.
Checkpoint 2 - TIMEFRAME (5pm-7pm) - Find the Cotopaxi team at Denver Oktoberfest on 21st between Larimer and Market, complete the challenge and post a team photo showing your checkpoint 2 stamp.
Have a teammate do 50 consecutive unbroken pushups and submit a timelapse video of the feat (don't forget your totem).
COMPLETE BOTH COTOPAXI CHECKPOINT CHALLENGES - Submit team photo with both passport stamps visible.
Find and photograph a Maine license plate. The real thing not a photo or any other facsimile.
Film yourself doing a skateboard trick that you invented.
Timelapse footage of your entire team holding a team plank as long as possible. One teammate may film. #respect. Don't forget your totem.
As a team hold a "wall sit" as long as you can.
During daylight hours do a touchdown celebration dance with Mile High in the background, yes the actual stadium.
Go tandem longboarding while singing "Don't Go Breaking My Heart".
Perform your best belly flop at a public pool. Get everyone's attention first. Really go for it!
Do a quick 200 meter swim in an olympic size pool. Congrats Swimmer Winner. Post a timelapse of your feat. (don't forget your totem)
Donate a box of gently used clothing to a nonprofit serving those in need.
Checkpoint 1 - TIMEFRAME (noon-1pm) - Find the Cotopaxi team at City Park near Thatcher Fountain, complete the challenge and post a team photo showing your checkpoint 1 stamp. Checkpoint closes at 1:00pm exactly.
Stack 5 apples on top of each other with no other supports.
Go to your favorite pizza joint and try to eat a piece in one bite
Film a 15 second video teaching how to tie a prusik knot.
Hike/ Walk around Sloan Lake Park; take at least 3 pictures around the lake walk with your totem, and track your hike with an app such as Strava. Post a collage.
Howl like a werewolf in front of the setting or rising sun
Do a flip into a pond, river or lake.
Do a load of laundry. Hang dry instead of using a dryer (energy saver, what what!).
Jump into a natural (not a pool) body of water with your clothes on. Bring a towel!
Boulder one problem outdoors.
Visit the St. Mary's Glacier and lake. Take a team picture in in front of the lake and Glacier.
Collect 50 pieces of trash along a hiking trail and recycle what you can. #dogood
Have a teammate hold their breath while completely submerged in a natural body of water for as long as they can. Submit timelapse footage and record the total time in the description. (don't forget your totem)
Contact the nonprofit of your choice and schedule a time to go in and volunteer with them after the Questival. (PLEASE if you complete this challenge make sure to honor your commitment). #integrity
Film a 15 second video teaching how to tie an alpine butterfly knot.
Eat at a roadside diner, order the 12th thing on the menu.
Tie a bowline knot in a 15 second video.
Order a pumpkin spice latte under the name "Bueller" when you pick it up tell them "Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."
Camp overnight in a tent in the wilderness give an MTV Cribs style tour of your entire campsite. (Sorry yard/house camping doesn't count)
Watch a sunrise. Take a break and enjoy the moment.
Eat 1 tablespoon of blue cheese, and immediately after swallowing sing "I'm Blue" by Eiffel 65.
Write a note with 10 things you love about Denver and leave it for someone else to find.
Give one of your teammates a piggy back ride up 3 flights of stairs. #timelapsevideoifnecessary
Fly a paper airplane more than 50 feet
Share a doughnut with your team... without using your hands.
Start an impromptu YMCA song outside the YMCA.
Picture collage riding 2 separate forms of public transit.
Find and take a team photograph with the big blue bear.
Get in full ski or snowboard gear and lay out in your yard as if you were tanning.
Take a 15 second video and tell what the Colorado state motto means to you with the Colorado flag waving in the background.
Take a creative team picture with the the state flag of Colorado or the city flag of Denver. A real fabric flag waving majestically in the wind.
Complete the kickoff challenge at 7:30 (It will be announced from the stage)
Find and photograph a Colorado State Quarter.
Go to the main stage and as a team dance to whatever band is playing.
Take a team photo with the giant bobble head.
Visit NothingButNets.net learn a fact about malaria then make a 15 second video sharing your new found knowledge.
Eat something from one of the check-in party food vendors and take a quick pic.
Visit stein hoisting or keg bowling either as a participant or spectator.
Successfully arrive at the kick-off/launch party at having parked legally and lawfully or take public transport.
Visit one of your favorite local places in nature.
Procure a pumpkin for your team. You may need it in one of the upcoming challenges 😉
Pick a state or national park you want to visit. Take a 15s video letting us know what you would want to do during your visit.
Create a unique team motto in a foreign language
